  • How does Splash for Good work?

Splash for Good is a daily charity raffle with tickets from $2. The odds of winning are 1 in 2,500 per ticket. Draws close after 24 hours or when all 2,500 tickets sell, whichever comes first. Prizes are deposited to your account within 3 business days; Victorian winners receive a Prezzee eGift Card instead of cash, as required by Victorian law.

    What is Splash for Good?

Splash for Good is a daily raffle where every ticket sold supports a partnered charity. Each draw runs for a maximum of 24 hours, or closes earlier once all 2,500 tickets are sold, whichever happens first. A new draw opens as soon as the previous one closes.

Who is the Splash for Good beneficiary?

The current charity partner is GIVIT. GIVIT connects Australians experiencing hardship with essential items and services, including groceries, white goods, school supplies, and disaster recovery support, working with local community organisations across Australia.

Destiny Rescue was the first charity partner of Splash for Good.

Am I eligible to play Splash for Good?

You're eligible if you're age 18 or over and live in Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania, the Northern Territory, or South Australia.

How can I play Splash for Good?

Purchase a ticket for the current draw, from the Splash for Good page or the Oz Lotteries app. You can buy up to 25 tickets per draw, this limit is required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations.

As a draw gets closer to selling out, larger ticket bundles may be removed if they'd take the draw over its 2,500-ticket cap. This is to prevent purchase errors near sell-out.

You can only buy into the current, open draw, not future draws.

What are the odds of winning?

Each draw has 2,500 tickets. A single ticket gives you a 1 in 2,500 chance of winning. Buying more tickets improves your odds for that draw, up to 1 in 100 with the maximum 25 tickets.

How do I win a Splash for Good prize?

A winner is chosen at random once a draw closes, either after 24 hours or once all 2,500 tickets are sold. Winning tickets receive a $500 prize.

For winners outside Victoria, the prize is deposited into your Oz Lotteries account within 3 business days.

Victorian winners receive a $500 Prezzee eGift Card instead of a cash prize, this is a legal requirement under Victorian law. Your eGift Card is sent to your Oz Lotteries account email once your account is verified, if your account isn't yet verified, you'll need to verify it to receive your eGift Card.

What can I use my Splash for Good eGift Card for?

Once you receive your eGift Card, you can exchange it for many brands supported by Prezzee, through the Prezzee portal. Instructions and the full list of supported brands are included in your eGift Card email.

I haven't received my eGift Card, where is it?

If you haven't received your gift card, check that your Oz Lotteries account is verified, we can only send prizes to verified accounts. If you're verified, check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, contact our Customer Support team.

When do Splash for Good entries close?

A draw closes 24 hours after it opens, or earlier if all 2,500 tickets sell out first.

What time is Splash for Good drawn?

Splash for Good is drawn immediately after the draw closes, either 24 hours after opening, or earlier if it sells out first.

How can I check my Splash for Good results?

Your results are emailed to you following the draw. You can also check your Drawn Tickets in My Account.

My purchase failed, what do I do?

Please try again, or contact our Customer Support team if the issue continues.

What happens after my bank account is confirmed?

Once your bank account is confirmed, you can withdraw your prize funds whenever you'd like. Find out more in How can I withdraw my prize funds?

What is the difference between verifying and confirming my account?

These are two separate processes. Verifying your identity helps protect against fraud and meets our legal obligations, see How do I verify my Oz Lotteries account? for more detail.

Confirming your bank account is a separate, 2-step process that checks your bank account details are correct before we release prize funds into it.

I haven't received my 1c deposit code, where is it?

The 1c deposit should appear in your bank account within a few seconds, but can take up to 48 hours depending on your bank. If you haven't received it after 48 hours, check that you've entered your bank account details correctly in your Oz Lotteries account.

Are my bank account details secure with Oz Lotteries?

Yes. Oz Lotteries handles your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act, and remains PCI Compliant. Your information is protected against misuse, interference, modification, and unauthorised access or disclosure.

How do I know when my bank account has been confirmed?

Once you've successfully entered your 6-digit confirmation code, your bank account will show as Confirmed on the Cards and Accounts section of your account.

Why does my bank account show as "pending confirmation"?

If you've added your bank account details but haven't yet confirmed them, your account will show as Pending Confirmation. To confirm your account, follow step 5 onwards of What are the steps to confirm my bank account? above.

Why does my bank account show as "failed confirmation"?

This usually happens if you've entered the 6-digit confirmation code incorrectly too many times. If you remove and re-add the exact same bank account, it will be rejected.

If you have a different bank account, add its details and follow the confirmation process again. Otherwise, contact our Customer Support team for further help.

  • Why was I charged an inactive account fee?

Oz Lotteries charges a $5.50 monthly fee (including GST) on accounts inactive for 13+ months with a balance above $0. We'll email you before charging starts, and the fee is only ever deducted from your account balance, never from a card or bank account.

What is the inactive account fee?

Oz Lotteries charges a $5.50 monthly fee (including GST) on accounts inactive for over 13 months with a balance above $0. You'll receive an email when your account becomes inactive, the fee only starts if it remains inactive for a further month after that.

The fee is only ever deducted from your available account balance, never from your bank account or credit card. If your balance is less than $5.50, we'll only charge what's available, and we stop charging once your balance reaches $0.

For full details, see the Inactive Accounts section of our Terms and Conditions.

How do I avoid the inactive account fee?

You can avoid this fee in two ways:

    • Keep your account active. Making a purchase resets your account's inactivity period.
    • Withdraw your funds. The fee only applies to accounts with a balance above $0, so withdrawing your funds means there's nothing left to charge the fee against.

How do I withdraw my funds?

To withdraw your prize funds, go to Withdraw Funds. Your account needs to be ID verified before you can withdraw prize funds, see our Verification FAQs for more detail.

How do I close my account?

To withdraw your prize funds or deposited funds and close your account, see How to close your account and claim your funds.

To forfeit your funds and close your account instead, complete our account closure form.

How do I check my account balance?

You can view your balance on the My Account page.
