Lotto Party is a private syndicate you create and invite friends to join, everyone contributes for a share of a bigger ticket, and any prize is split evenly and paid directly into each member's Oz Lotteries account. It's exclusive to Oz Lotteries.
Can I make my own Syndicate?
Lotto Party lets you set up a syndicate with your friends. You and your friends each contribute money for a share of a larger lotto ticket, if the ticket wins, the prize is split evenly between all the shares.
Unlike joining one of our public Syndicates, a Lotto Party is private, you create the group and choose exactly who to invite.
Lotto Party is exclusive to Oz Lotteries.
How does Lotto Party work?
An organiser sets up a group and creates a ticket for an upcoming draw, sets the price each person needs to contribute for a share, then invites people to join using a unique link.
As people join and pay, the ticket size grows. At 12pm AEST (1pm AEDT) on the day of the draw, the group's ticket is purchased, even if only a few people have joined, so nobody who's already paid misses out. If someone doesn't accept an invite or purchase their share, they simply won't be included, everyone else who joined stays in the draw as normal.
Everyone who joined receives an email with the final ticket details once it's purchased. After the draw, we calculate any winnings and pay each member directly into their own Oz Lotteries account, based on how many shares they purchased.
What ticket types are available for Lotto Party?
Lotto Party currently offers Standard and PowerHit tickets only.
You currently can't choose your own numbers for a Lotto Party ticket, only QuickPick is available.
