Queensland residents can't participate in Lotto Party. Victoria and Tasmania customers can only play with others in their own state. Everyone needs their own Oz Lotteries account, limited to one account per person.
Can I play Lotto Party with friends in other states?
If you're in South Australia, the Northern Territory, New South Wales, or the Australian Capital Territory, you can play with friends in any other state, except Queensland, Victoria, and Tasmania.
If you're in Victoria or Tasmania, you can only play a Lotto Party with other members in your own state.
This same rule applies to our public Syndicates.
Can Queensland residents participate in Lotto Party?
No, Queensland residents can't participate in Lotto Party due to our licensing agreement. See Why can't I buy commercial lottery tickets in Queensland? for more information.
Do my friends need an Oz Lotteries account to join?
Yes, everyone joining needs their own Oz Lotteries account. Registering only takes a couple of minutes. We require everyone to have their own account so we can:
- Confirm everyone playing is 18 or over and in an eligible location
- Collect payment directly from each person and send everyone their own copy of the ticket
- Pay winnings directly to each person, without anyone needing to split funds manually
- Make future draws faster, since everyone's details are already saved
Can I use multiple accounts in my own Lotto Party?
No, our Terms and Conditions limit each person to one Oz Lotteries account. If you'd like to increase your involvement in a Lotto Party, you can purchase more shares instead.
