Is there a minimum deposit amount?
When you deposit funds into your account from the Deposit Funds page, the minimum deposit is $5 (AUD) by credit card or PayPal.
The minimum doesn't apply when you deposit during checkout. If your balance doesn't cover your cart, you'll only be asked to deposit the amount needed to complete your purchase.
Any deposited funds left in your account can be used for future purchases. Deposited funds can't be withdrawn.
How do I pay by credit or debit card?
Credit and debit card payments are instant and require nothing more than access to your card. This is the simplest and fastest payment option. You can view, add, or remove cards under Cards and Accounts.
You can deposit funds into your Oz Lotteries account using your card, or pay for your tickets directly at the checkout.
How do I pay by PayPal?
PayPal deposits are instant. PayPal is available for customers in Australia only. See How do I use PayPal to deposit/withdraw funds? for full details.
How do I pay by Apple Pay?
Apple Pay deposits are instant and require an Apple Pay account with available funds.
Select Apple Pay directly at the checkout to purchase your tickets.
How do I pay by Google Pay?

How do I pay by Direct Deposit?
You can manually deposit funds into your Oz Lotteries account through internet banking or by visiting a branch, then use the deposited amount to buy tickets. Direct Deposit payments can take up to 72 hours to reach your Oz Lotteries account. Deposit into the following account, using your unique Payee Description:

- Payee Description: your unique reference, shown on the Deposit Funds page
Please note: always include your Payee Description, missing this may cause significant delays. Funds aren't available in your Oz Lotteries account until they're received in our bank account, we'll email you once they're available.
How do I pay by BPAY?
Like Direct Deposit, BPAY is completed through your bank, generally via internet banking. BPAY payments can take up to 72 hours to reach your Oz Lotteries account. Use the following details, along with your unique reference, shown on the Deposit Funds page:
- Biller Code: 252148
- Reference: your unique reference, shown on the Deposit Funds page
Please note: always include your reference, this identifies which account your funds go into. Funds aren't available in your Oz Lotteries account until they're received in our bank account, we'll email you once they're available.
Will I be charged a cash advance fee?
If you deposit using a credit card, either directly or through PayPal, your bank may charge a cash advance fee, since online gambling can be treated as a cash transaction. To avoid this, use a debit card, Direct Deposit, or BPAY instead. See Fees and Charges for more detail.
