What are the two types of Dream Home Art Union draws?
Each year, Dream Home Art Union runs six multi-million-dollar prize home draws:
- General Lottery draws, four each year, where a single ticket is $5
- Golden Treasure draws, two each year, featuring the apartment block prizes, where a single ticket is $10
The higher ticket price in Golden Treasure draws allows Dream Home Art Union to offer bigger, more exciting prizes, while continuing to support veterans and their families.
How much do ticket books cost?
Most ticket books are sold at the same prices in both draw types. What changes is the number of tickets each book contains. Because a Golden Treasure ticket costs twice as much, a book at the same price contains fewer tickets.
General Lottery Draws ticket book pricing:
- $5 book: 1 ticket
- $10 book: 2 tickets
- $20 book: 5 tickets
- $30 book: 10 tickets
- $50 book: 30 tickets
- $80 book: 60 tickets
- $100 book: 100 tickets
- $150 book: 150 tickets
- $200 book: 200 tickets
- $500 book: 500 tickets
- $1,000 book: 1000 tickets
Golden Treasure Draws ticket book pricing:
- $10 book: 1 ticket
- $20 book: 2 tickets
- $30 book: 4 tickets
- $50 book: 15 tickets
- $80 book: 28 tickets
- $100 book: 50 tickets
- $150 book: 75 tickets
- $200 book: 100 tickets
- $500 book: 250 tickets
- $1,000 book: 500 tickets
Please note: the $5 ticket book is only available in General Lottery draws. In Golden Treasure draws, the smallest ticket book is $10.
How does AutoPlay pricing work for Golden Treasure draws?
Your AutoPlay preference carries across every draw automatically, you don't need to do anything when a Golden Treasure draw comes around.
- If your AutoPlay amount is $5 in a general draw, your entry will be $10 in a Golden Treasure draw. This is because $5 is the price of a single ticket, and a single ticket in a Golden Treasure draw costs $10. You'll still receive one ticket.
- If your AutoPlay amount is $10 or more, the amount you pay stays exactly the same in both draw types. In a Golden Treasure draw you'll receive fewer tickets than you'd receive in a General Lottery draw, at the same price.
You can review or change your AutoPlay settings at any time in your account.
Why does the ticket price go up for Golden Treasure draws?
Golden Treasure draws feature the apartment block prizes, including gold bullion which are larger prizes than the general prize home draws. The $10 ticket price allows Dream Home Art Union to offer these bigger prizes while continuing to fund programs supporting veterans and their families.
Will I be charged more without knowing?
No. The only time where your charge changes is if your AutoPlay amount is set to $5, the price of a single ticket, in which case a Golden Treasure entry will be $10. For every ticket book of $10 or more, the amount you pay is the same in both draw types. You're shown how your AutoPlay works when you set it up, and you can check it anytime in the Recurring Purchases section in your account.
Do I need to change my AutoPlay settings before a Golden Treasure draw?
