There are some exciting changes coming to Powerball! Get ready for bigger prizes, and higher jackpots more often.
The prizes will be bigger and better, with higher jackpots more often and the average prize available across Divisions 3, 8 and 9 increasing!

When is the change happening?
The first draw with these changes will be on Thursday 25 May (Draw 1410). You'll be able to purchase tickets after draw close on Thursday 18 May 2023.
What are the division changes?
There will be a change to the Powerball Prize Pool Distribution allocated to Prize Divisions as shown in the below table:

Why can't I buy in some future draws?
In the meantime, some of the future draws will be temporarily unavailable after draw close on Thursday 16 March 2023.
You can purchase as usual in Powerball again from Thursday 18 May 2023.
